So, if you are a friend of mine on Facebook (you should be...) you know it has been a very big few weeks a the Penny Household... The College World Series (CWS) took over our lives and Troy and I have been glued to the TV for the last two weeks eagerly watching not only our games, but most of the Regionals, almost all of the Supers and the whole CWS...
Now in true Carrie fashion I kept my hands very, very busy with things overly girly to compensate for the testosterone levels in the House... First off, as I have said before I got my hair cut and wanted some hair bows to keep my bangs out of my face while crafting, cleaning, reading, blogging, playing piano (horribly still) and well... for everything I do. Some of these are repeats, but some are new.
The fuchsia has burned edges with glass pearl center, the comb is artificial flowers with pearl centers (easy and very fun project!) and the butterfly came from the garden dept of Hobby Lobby on a sting of 6 (50 cents)
Ok so now on to the jewelery I have been making, some of this I made back before Easter and the last set I made yesterday to welcome or team home from Omaha
I used the technique I learned for making rosaries to make this triple stranded necklace... It is fun but REALLY long
The road to Omaha was long, the CWS was fun but to be honest I am glad that it is over, it would be nice to knit again...
